Food Concession inside the Buxom Wench or Knight's Tavern Marquee.Buxom Wench Tavern. A 40 x 100 foot traditional white centre pole marquee houses the food and bar concessions. It is also the main evening entertainment location with live bands each evening. This point of sale has tremendous opportunity to sell hot and cold food to the public during open hours on each of the Festival days. Knight's Tavern. A 40 x 60 foot traditional white centre pole marquee houses the food and bar concessions. It evening entertainment lplus the Outdoor Cinema. This point of sale has tremendous opportunity to sell hot and cold food to the public for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner as it is very close to the Camping entrance. A high standard of service, decoration and variety and quality of food is required, and the menu must be approved by EMFL. The Buxom Wench Tavern food concession fee is £3,000.00 plus VAT. The Knight's Tavern food concession fee is £2,000.00 plus VAT. Payment must be made by BACS. The Buxom Wench and Knight's Tavern concessions are subject to approval by festival managment, and payment of a deposit does not confirm this approval. If you would like to be considered for this food concession area, please Click Here The Festival will provide the concessionaire with: The marquee in which to cater (50ft running feet): water hook up: three phase electrical power: near by toilets with sinks: wheel bins for waste: lighting: chairs and tables for patrons. The Concessionaire will: Have the concession open, fully staffed and ready for business between the hours of: Friday: 6 pm and 11 pm Saturday: Sunday: Monday: At a previously agreed time to cater for breakfast for the participants (ie. 8am to 9.00am), and between 9.00 am and 6.00 pm for the visiting public, RAIN OR SHINE and with no exceptions: 7 pm and 11.30 pm for participants (Monday being 7 pm closure). 2. Decorate with a medieval theme the catering area. 3. All cooking, preparation and dispensing equipment in the catering area. 4. Ensure that all servers are dressed in medieval-style costume. 5. Ensure absolute cleanliness of the catering area at all times. 6. Submit a planned menu and prices for pre-approval at the time of booking (excluding a hog roast or ice cream products). Applications will be considered on a first come first served basis. There is free on site camping and both hotel and B&B's in the area.
